A multi layered silkscreen with a digital grid created from a digital drawing of the iron gate in front of my residential house in Melville, Johannesburg. 3 different grids printed on top of each other create a very dense image. Structure, chaos and meditation come together in this work. The final layer is the structure of the gate printed with a golden coating which only appears when the light reflects the ink under a certain angle.
